FRP Paint Party
April 2nd was a busy, yet fun day at FRP-Gay Street. Our staff and friends of FRP came to our new location on Gay Street for our Paint Party! Staff, Friends, and Family gathered on the 3rd floor at the new headquarters for FRP and our Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center to paint the office space. We had a blast! Tunes, jokes, and laughter was just a way to keep our minds off how sore we would be at the end of the day! Stay tuned for before and after pictures.

As always, here at FRP, we love to celebrate holidays throughout the year! Our Easter-themed hallways have made the children excited about the Easter bunny and lots of candy. Our parents and children are forever grateful to our supportive community and donors for the Easter baskets that were given to them. Smiles and giggles filled the room as the children ripped through the paper with excitement while grabbing the biggest candy bar and sweetest bag of jellybeans. Much thanks to Patricia Bishop for the fabulous baskets!

Meals and Memories are made Here!
March was a busy month here at The Sage Center We’ve invited Chef Eula McDowell of The Bean Theory to be a part of the FRP family and she has so graciously devoted her time to show our parents how to cook some of our favorite dishes. So far, they’ve made: Chicken Alfredo, Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup, and Tacos and they were DELICIOUS!!!! Chef Eula is the best and we are excited when she comes to Sage Center every Thursday.

We have been honored to have The Honorable Judge Robert Kershaw apart of FRP for the last 11 years. Judge Kershaw had his first CINA (Child in Need of Assistance)/FRP hearing on January 7, 2011 and his last hearing was held on February 25, 2022. Judge Kershaw will be truly missed by the families and staff of FRP. Judge Kershaw has been an advocate for the families that we serve on a daily basis at FRP, and his passion, dedication and commitment to our organization will forever bind our hearts together.
During the FRP December Graduation Ceremony, Dr. Gainers and the FRP staff lavished Judge Kershaw with gifts and well wishes, just to show him how much we have appreciated his support throughout the years. There were laughs, tears and many stories shared from around the room that expressed how we feel about Judge Kershaw and the impact he has made on the City of Baltimore and the families and staff of FRP.
Judge Kershaw, again, thank you for your years of service! We wish you well on your future endeavors and hope to continue working with you.

Holiday Festivities!
Tis’ The Season! We are celebrating the holiday season FRP Style at The Sage Center. Much thanks to the Baltimore Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for hosting our Annual FRP Holiday Party. The members of DST, Inc. had a jewelry pop-up shop for the parents and fun games for the children. Our staff cooked a 5-star meal for the families, and everyone enjoyed the holiday dinner. The best part of the night was a visit from Santa Claus, himself. He parked his sleigh in our parking lot and brought lots of toys and goodies. It was such a great evening to kickoff the holiday season at FRP. We are so blessed to have such great support from community organizations and contributors that we can hold events at the Sage Center. Thanks to all who made this evening a successful one to remember.
