The Family Recovery Program Brings Staff Together for an All-Staff Retreat
The Family Recovery Program (FRP) recently brought its team together at the Sage Center for an all-staff retreat focused on teamwork, professional development, collaboration, and continued growth.
The retreat provided staff members with an opportunity to step away from their daily responsibilities, connect with colleagues, reflect on their work, and explore new ways to strengthen the services provided to the families we serve. With team members working across different roles and program areas, creating opportunities to come together is an important part of maintaining strong communication and a shared commitment to FRP’s mission.
Throughout the retreat, staff had the opportunity to share experiences, discuss new systems, and learn about upcoming trainings and opportunities for professional development. These conversations encouraged collaboration, helped strengthen connections across the team, and created space for staff to exchange ideas about how we can continue improving our work.
At The Family Recovery Program, we understand that supporting families affected by substance use disorders requires dedication, compassion, and a coordinated approach. Our case managers, peer recovery specialists, administrative staff, and other team members each play an important role in helping parents navigate recovery, work toward reunification, and build stable futures for themselves and their children.
Taking time to invest in our staff is an important part of investing in the families we serve. By strengthening our teamwork, expanding our knowledge, and improving communication, we can continue to grow as a program and provide meaningful support to parents and children throughout their journeys.
We are grateful to our dedicated staff for their continued commitment, hard work, and willingness to learn and grow together. The retreat served as a reminder that while each team member contributes in their own unique way, we are united by one mission: strengthening families and helping create brighter futures for children.
At FRP, growth happens together. We look forward to continuing to build on the connections, ideas, and lessons from our time together at the Sage Center.
