Earth Day
On a blistery morning in April, Earth Day was celebrated at the Sage Center. Parents, children and staff all gathered to clean out the old, winterized soil and add new organic soil to bring a slice of sunshine to the community. Our planter boxes were renewed and refreshed. Our vegetable garden will soon have purple kale, lettuce, and beefsteak tomatoes. Many of those in attendance had never experienced the beauty of playing in the dirt, planting plants, and being a part of Earth Day.
A great time was had by all!
