Research Study for Parenting Women in Recovery
The Family Recovery Program, Inc. and The University of Maryland School of Nursing has created a research study for parenting women in recovery.
A Family Recovery Program and University of Maryland, Baltimore Study
This research study is about the experiences of parenting women in recovery and the support they receive from family, friends, and the community. Staying in treatment with the right amount of support may lead to long-term recovery.
Study Participation
- You may be asked to participate in a group interview session and a survey.
- You may be asked to participate by telephone and/or video conference.
- Telephone sessions will last about an hour.
- Video conferences will last about 90 minutes.
You May Be Eligible If You:
- are a parenting woman living in Baltimore City
- are enrolled with Family Recovery Program (current and past members)
- have been diagnosed with opioid use disorder
- are receiving treatment with medication and/or therapy
- have access to a working mobile device, tablet, or computer.
At The End Of Study Participation, You Will Receive $25 – $50
- a gift card for $25 for interviews
- a gift card for $25 for surveys
