My sisters place
On 1/30/19 staff of The Family Recovery Program and residents of The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Building at Sage Center traveled to My Sister’s Place-(a local homeless shelter for women in Baltimore city) to provide lunch, love and hope to the ladies who came in from the cold for a hot meal. We served a delicious meal of barbequed chicken, rice, vegetables, roll and a brownie. During our lunch service, one of our staff (Keith Matthews) provided live vocals which everyone enjoyed tremendously. One of the ladies shared that our presence during lunch truly lifted her spirits. Giving back is important to us as an organization and it is important to those that we serve. We can’t wait until our next opportunity to serve!
