Baltimore City Health Department NARCAN training
The Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD) visited The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Building at Sage Center to conduct NARCAN training November 10th 2020. According to the CVS.com website “Available without an individual prescription nationwide, naloxone, also known as NARCAN®, is a safe and effective antidote to opioid overdoses.”
The staff and parents of The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Building at Sage Center were treated to an excellent NARCAN training conducted by the Baltimore City Health Department on November 10th in our backyard. Our partner, BCHD, comes regularly to train new families and staff. Everyone was certified and received an overdose kit so that they could assist someone that would be in need. This training raises everyone’s awareness of overdoses and encourages them to stay vigilant.
